About WWIT

Founded in 2001 by Sidra Rausch as a project of her organization Creative Music Workshop, Inc., a not-for-profit [Section 501(c) (3)] school and theatre, WWIT was established in memory of Sidra's sister, Ronda Schwartz, who died of breast cancer. The first official public performance took place at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in summer 2003. With Karen Berman, a long-time collaborator and friend, as a co-director, WWIT inaugurated the company's work with premiere staged readings August 11 and 12, 2003.
